The bachelor thesis deals with choirs in Prachatice. It theoretically describes the choirs, presents their history, types of choirs and the personality of the choirmaster. It also deals with vocal defects and voice disorders and related vocal hygiene. In the next part of the work it describes the history of Prachatice and its development. Finally, the thesis deals with the choirs in Prachatice, focusing on their history, current activities, choirmasters and the repertoire of the choirs.

The level of exercise of The High School of Pedagogy students

This bachelor thesis deals with Level of Physical Exercise of Students of High School of Education in Prachatice, who spend the majority of time with sedentary activities. This paper is divided into two parts, theory and practice. Theoretical part contains historical and contemporary information about physical activity and its importance. Other chapters describe puberty, its specifics and importance of the teacher´s participation in the educational process. Final chapters deal with motivation, free time and functioning of dormitories. In practical part physical exercise is being analyzed with questionnaires. The research was made with students of Hing School of Education in Prachatice. 78 respondents participated in the research. Final data were examined and evaluated. Conclusion of the paper comes with suggestion of boosting physical activity in analyzed group of students.

Rozbor negativních externalit silniční dopravy

The thesis is fucused on the study of negative externalities of road traffic. There are many externalities in the field of car transport. In this particular case, the emphasis is on externalities that have the greatest impact on human health. There are dust particles, noise and carbon dioxide production on a selected section of the transport route.I chose a very busy road in the village of Čkyně as the most suitable measuring section. This road i known as the ,, Čkyňská rovinka". Dust particles were meansured at the intersetiction in Prachatice because of the proximity of the measuring station. Measurements are made with the DUSTTRAK 8530, a universal sound level meter, a camera, a camcorder, a laptop and the MEFA 13 program, which comes from ATEM, s. r. o.

The end of World War II in Prachatice District

The bachelor's thesis entitled The End of the Second World War in Prachatice Region attempts to use archival sources and other available literature to process the last months of the end of the Second World War in this South Bohemian town. Although it is a topic of the recent past, there are not many sources of knowledge in the case of Prachatice. The introductory part includes a brief description of Prachatice and its history, followed by the development from 1938 to the end of 1944. In other parts, he deals with the events of the first four months of 1945, when the Revolutionary National Committee was formed, refugee transports passed through Prachatice, the railway station was attacked by American pilots, and the German city leadership decided whether the city would defend itself against the incoming American army. The key part is the events in May 1945, when the city was liberated. Also mentioned is task 3. U.S. Army, which liberated Prachatice. The final chapters are devoted to the post-war operation of the American army in this region and the post-war removal of the Germans from Prachatick. The main source was SOkA in Prachatice, which provided the most important sources for writing the thesis. Renaissance mural paintings and sgraffiti on the facades in town Prachatice

Práce zpracovává renesanční fasádní nástěnné malby a sgrafita v Prachaticích. Časově je práce vymezena 16. stoletím, kdy město vlastnili Rožmberkové. Největší rozkvět města je spojen s vládou Viléma z Rožmberka v 2. polovině 16. století, kdy ve městě také vnikly všechny výpravnější figurální výzdoby domů. Výzdoba jednotlivých domů odráží postupný majetkový vzestup prachatických měšťanů. Realizace z 50. a 60. let 16. století jsou spíše výtvarně a také technologicky skromnější. Největší vzepětí jak majetkové tak také umělecké lze sledovat od začátku 70. let. Hrdost měšťanů a jejich estetické nároky nejlépe dokládá výzdoba Staré radnice. Nesmírně zajímavá a kvalitní výzdoba prachatických domů otvírá jako celek řadu otázek. Vedle dílenských a uměleckých souvislostí s ostatními jihočeskými městy, je to problém autenticity památky. Na některých fasádách, které byly pokládány za renesanční, se již s renesanční malbou ve skutečnosti nesetkáme. Jedná se o barokní novotvary, které motivickými částmi navázaly na původní výzdobu. Výrazné jsou odkazy na Rožmberky, které připomíná téměř každá fasáda. To nelze vysvětlit jinak, než jako výraz subordinace majiteli panství a tamnímu panovníkovi. The auspices of the last Rosenberg family (explained by an example of the town of Prachatice)

My bachelor thesis is focused on Prachatice when this town was under the auspices of Rosenberg family. The main aim of this thesis is to describe the auspices of the last Rosenberg family in the years 1551 - 1601, which has not been studied in detail in the historiography so far. I try to exceed this period of time and focus on the auspices in the period in which the town of Prachatice was possessed by the Czech chamber. Another aim of the thesis is the description of ecclesiastic administration in the important towns located in the Rosenberg dominion. Primary sources I have used for my work are stored in the State regional archive in Prachatice (Archive of the Prachatice town) and in the State regional archive in Třeboň, workplace Český Krumlov (Manor Farm Estate Prachatice-Volary). An issue of the Income declaration of the year 1558 is attached in the appendix.

Hussite tradition in South Bohemia

The first part summarizes the development of the Hussian tradition during the centuries from the Poděbrady and Jagellon periods, through the period after Bílá Hora battle, the 19th century, the First Republic, the Protectorate, the Socialist period up to the present. In the second part there are places in southern Bohemia, which are connected with the stay of Master Jan Hus. It is primarily his birth house in Husinec, the Literary School in Prachatice, the Church of St. Jacob Mayor in Prachatice, Hus` Rock near Husinec and Kozí Hrádek near Sezimovo Usti. The third part deals briefly with the iconography of Master Jan Hus in the monitored area. The Jews on the Sumava - History and Present

This thesis deals with the charting of jewish settlement in Sumava and Posumavi, and also with history and present of the selected villages - Vimperk, Čkyně, Vlachovo Březí, Volyně, Dub, Prachatice and Volary. The first part characterises the jewish settlement in Sumava and Posumavi. Furthermore, it describes aforementioned villages and occupied with their jewish history, sights, personalities and current condition. The second part contains questionaire with 10 basic questions, regarding to jewish history at Prachaticko, and also contains comparison of three surveyed schools: Elementary school Husinec, Elementary school Vlachovo Březí and Prachatice High school. In every surveyed school, there were questioned scholars of 8th and 9th classes. The best results reached scholars of Prachatice High school, then of Elementary school Vlachovo Březí and the last place tooked by scholars of Elementary school Husinec. Despite the fact that this issue is not occupied until 9th class, knowledge of scholars in 8th class is high.
